Peach "sweatette" done

I finally finished this before the last visit to mom's, she loves the color and it is nice and warm but not suffocating. It was fun figuring out a way to make a button that goes with the band, and am now inspired to work on more knitted closures.

You may or may not remember that this is the "hybrid" sweater that is partly hand knit, partly knit on the LK 150, out of Peruvian highland.

Perfect color for this time of year!

I am knitting a child's aran and using the bobbles from the pattern as buttons. I love knitting closures esp for kids so you don't have to worry about them pulling off buttons and eating them

The sweater is beautiful. Wish I could knit. I do crochet though. I bought a pair of knitting needles though to learn. I have the alto spindolyn to learn spinning too. I finally just spun a small amount of wool that looks like yarn. I love the look of the original spindolyn but it looks like it would be hard to spin for a beginner so I got the alto. I love it. Once again the sweater is really nice.

Can't wait to see the new alto spindolyn. Also did you say you're going to use new woods for the orginal one? I love seeing these new tools to spin on. I'm not ready to get a spinning wheel so I'm using drop spindles and can't wait to see what you come up with.

I like this very much, the shape is good, especially for a shorter sweater, which can be a tricky. Color is my favorite!!
